Im thinking of adding a new file format to the Spectrum range off files.

Im going to call it .smx format. The idea will be to load like a .TZX like file. But as fast as humainly possible with sound, for the nostalgic feel.

Two ways i could go load the SCR screen normal and when done. Go .smx TURBO format!

or

load everything as fast as and catch the final byte so we just hover on the loading screen until you press a key!

There are loads of ways we could to do this but i want that Nostalgic feel with the Loading screen!

It already has instant load but i want to implement a real feel but Super quick and super slick loader.

Im looking for ideas? if anyone is interested in adding anything?
