Don't think you'll get much for it now. I've got a mid 2010 iMac that I gave to the missus when I got my current one. That was a pretty good machine back in 2010 but I bought it off a mate in 2015 for around £400. That's 5 years ago. However, while you can't install a lot of newer apps and can't use it for World of Warcraft any more (because it doesn't support metal), it's still a good machine for general use. It's not much less powerful than the machine I have now, in all honesty.

Nothing wrong with using it for testing 2D games or basic 3D ones. Also I'm pretty sure the late 2009 iMacs could run 32 and 64bit apps so it's not useless yet. As Xerra says, it won't support Metal but will OpenGL / DirectX ( bootcamp ).

I have a late 2009 iMac.  Apple won't let me install anything newer than High Sierra 10.13.x.  >:D
You can install Mojave and Catalina on an iMac 2009 using this tool - You might fair better with Mojave though.

Mac Studio M4 Max ( 14 core CPU - 32 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD.
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 64GB DDR5 RAM, 2T PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Microsoft Surface Pro 11 ( Snapdragon® X Elite ), 16GB RAM, 512GB SDD.
ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM OLED 240Hz.

Until the next time.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. My 2010 machine ran parallels pretty well. It was a couple of years ago's versions but it's supposed to run even faster now. Assume you can download an older version if the new one doesn't run.
