BLITZMAXng Visual Studio or Raspberry Pi?

Does anyone use BlitzMax NG in Visual studio. If So? What do you prefer to the normal IDE :-X

Windows10, Parrot OS, Raspberry Pi Black Edition! , ZX Spectrum 48k, C64, Enterprise 128K, The SID chip. Im Misunderstood!

I did just try Visual Studio Code for BlitzmaxNG as I wanted to try Codium AI agent. Pretty cool stuff.

I actually have been using Mark Mcvittie's fork of MaxIDE that has autocomplete for keywords and functions/methods/types (Windows only).

Yeah, it was written for original Blitzmax. See if you can find that some where just to give it a try.

There isn't that much of a difference compared to current NG-version so I might be able to work out the issues.

Id only try it, if it's for BlitMaxNG it's faster ::)

The IDE itself works with NG, but currently only for 32-bit executables. IDE Source at the moment would have to be compiled with legacy Blitzmax to have it compile without any errors (just tried it and it works). Note that any executable that you make using this IDE in a NG environment would have all the benefits of that environment, so the fact that you used <what-ever-language> to make the IDE, it has no impact on the end result.
