I didn't know you could code for the Nintendo Switch with a BASIC-like Language, just go to the eShop.  The Oliver Twins were talking about it:

Fuze seems great, but I couldn't quite get to grips with it.  It seems like going a step back, as far as the language is concerned.  Remember back when it was DarkBasic Vs Blitz on the PC back in early 2000s?  And how DarkBasic was more about putting items into object variables, whilst Blitz was about having references to items instead?
My mind's firmly in the Blitz camp, now, and for reasons I can't quite fathom, I found it really hard to switch back.
Fuze is more like how DarkBasic did things.

It's good, don't get me wrong, but if you've spent the past 20 years with Blitz, it might be as tricky for you as it was for me.

On the flip side, there's also SmileBASIC on Switch.  I found myself falling into step with that one a heck of a lot quicker than I did with Fuze.
It's not that SmileBASIC is "better"..  Fuze has 3D functionality for starters.
But SmileBASIC just "felt" more comfortable to me.

Smile basic on Switch, sounds like fun, as luck should have it just found my switch out..... Oh no, its not a switch, its a Wii..... and I thin it'll only plug into an old portable in the garage. Oh well.

I don't intend to use Fuze but I was pleasantly surprised that a games console manufacturer allowed indie development.
