but will it run Blitz3D apps

mainsworthy

Im really happy with win 10, it runs everything and I had some power outs in the electricals and the computer recovered over and over. It never gets confused with anything.

Huh, what happened to Windows 10 being the last version? Guess they will skip over that :))

So we'll now have Windows which can run Android apps and MacOS which can run iOS apps? - Also Windows 11 now looks more like MacOS.

Wonder if they'll also release a native ARM version of Windows 11 which can be used with Apple Silicon & Parallels? wishful thinking.

Kinda typical that I've just spent a good few days redoing bootcamp on my intel Mac mini with Windows 10, apps and finally getting it to work with my eGPU only for a new version of Windows on the horizon. No biggie I guess as I can't see Windows 10 becoming obsolete for at least a good few years.

Dark mode, gotta have a dark mode for us night time coders with our faces stuck to the screen in a dimly lit room ;D

Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

I'd like to know this myself.

I think there is a race at the moment on who is going to be the first to release an operating system that can be installed on many types of devices and hardware, a universal OS for example.

hi

just to say that i have a new laptop (lenovo ideapad gaming 3) with Windows 11 OS.

blitz3d ide works well. (version 1.108 + upgrade B003 by 'bobysait') and the program compiles and runs well.

fragmotion also works well. (1.3.4)

but when i run a blitz3d executable or a unity executable (entries from the game competitions), i get this error message :
http://rd-stuff.fr/temp/20221124-windows11-defender-smart-screen.png

i will investigate further...

edit : you just have to click on the 'informations complementaires' (='additional informations') to be able to run the executable.
