I've been seeing YouTube adverts for this popping up for the last week. And yes. It is too good to be true. The adverts I've seen claim they are made in Germany and that there are only 500 left in the warehouse. If they were that good, then you would expect them to be available from reputable retailers.

If you've ever worked with metal, then you would know the types of tools and power required to do some of the stuff they claim it can do. Rewatch the video again and pay attention to the handles.

If you are looking at getting an all in one, then look for multi function welder and cutter. Or search for laser welders, but I should point out that laser welders are not something that Joe Bloggs should be using without some training, as it's using a bloody high powered laser. And by rights, anyone that intends to do any welding should have training, so not to injure themselves, or cause injury or death because of a poor quality weld.

Edit: After a bit of digging. What they are showing is only the torch part of a laser welder. And I think that the green one is just a soldering iron. So you can say it's a misleading advert.

Here is a review on a proto type 3-in-1 laser welder.
And he's more than likely right that they will be banned in the U.K. and possibly the E.U. too. Though they may be heavily restricted and only available to professional workshops under some sort of licence/certificate scheme. Checkout the regulations for Acetylene for an example.

And here's a few examples of some that haven't got a clue. The first one got ripped apart by another YouTuber. Testing a weld just by stomping on it  :))
