I wonder if someone will end up doing a Super Panovision 70 version of the 1985 film Lifeforce. This is a film where Patrick Stewart his first on screen film kiss and Matilda May spends most of her time walking around in her birthday suit.

There's me thinking he like's the OUTBACK! :-X

This is one i don't remember thanks. I remember one back then were the Alien lady would cuddle her Prey? and insert some worm type parisite from her arm pit? Now what was that?
I vaguely remember an interview with Patrick Stewart where he said that the film was the first on screen film kiss. But it's not what you think.... Around 4:15 in the clip.
As for the female alien parasite. Well that could be a number of movies. Pinning it down just depends on the year and how many body horror movies that featured aliens were released.

I think that the creators have got their Mummy franchises mixed up. They've got two protagonists characters from the 1999 movie, and the antagonist from the 2017 version where the protagonists went by completely different names.

Though it would be a kind of irony creating a 1950s version of a film that was based in the 1920s.

Guess they were not happy with the original 1951 version of the film. So they did a 1950s Super Panovision 70 version.

the mummy video has a magnificient hairdryer for the 50s :)

the day the earth stood still has interesting effects about wandering moles on the "main actress". Surely they hoped that her chest distracts good enough to not see it. I mean - that the "red shirt" characters have odd "morphs" or are "blurry" is one bad thing - but for the closeups they (the creators and their ai models) should take care of consistency.
If the AI can't do that they could simply patch visuals during edit stage (in this case eg cover up moles or add them). Adding these little details would make things look more "convincing".

And mixing in live footage (color graded etc) could help to overcome this annoying "slowmo, parallax movement"-video style (seems the ai models can only create such stuff for now).

Am pretty sure the "panovision trend" is soon to decline (saturation already happening to me for some videos).

bye

They must have borrowed it from the Flash Gordon props ray gun department at Universal Pictures.

Okay. I'm confused :-\
I'm having trouble telling which was the original 1950s one.

Not a Super Panovision. And I'm not sure it would work as a film.
