Will there be a syntaxbomb magazine this year.  If there was one last year,  I missed it.  I am itching to tell all about my new endeavors.

We didn't have one for 2020 :(

I think we should have another end of the year magazine as I really loved the first one.

Perhaps iWasAdam would be up to the creation of the magazine as he did a great job on the last one?

I just had a brain fart: what about a "retro future" magazine - and a competition (with this topic) running _before_.
With "reto future" I mean something like "The 50s - and what comes after". Like these atomic cars, atomic grills for everyone, flying cars ...

I like the general concept of 'Retro Future' especially if this was also a competition title - that would tie in very well ?

A-Ok

You mean a bit like Steampunk but instead of Victorian+Technology you have a 1950's timeline with pale colours, rock 'n roll, polkadots, gingham and poodles with tech powered by Atomic energy..? A pulp fiction style might work with that.

It made me think of the TV show Wandavision.

Derron

yeah something like this - might of course also work for 60s, 70s, ...

@Derron,

Want to be the father of a new genre

Steampunk.   Retro victorian ethics
Cyberpunk.    Retro cybernetics ethics
Ameripunk.    Just made it up. American western feel.  Could also be called whedonpunk. After firefly or genepunk after Star Trek
And now.   Discopunk.   After the music craze of the era of the late '70s. early '80s. Or since you suggested the idea call it Derronpunk.

Am sure the 60s and 70s would have enjoyed the Hampster Dance :)

50's would be more like "atomicrock", "atompunk", "polkapunk" or "poodlepunk"!

And what would we call the 40s 30s and 20s.
Do we center it on america or go to some other country like england or japan.
