Spectrum Next, games coming to the system.
« on: August 31, 2021, 22:36:00 »
Still early days for the Spectrum Next Platform, but a couple of new games in-development that caught my eye (and one I can't resist mentioning again from one of the already released titles):

Way of the Exploding Fist (scaled-up in-development screenshot attached).  The game runs at 320 x 200 (so no border).

TX-1696 (in development):

And one I've mentioned before - Delta's Shadow:

It does, doesn't it?  This is enlarged, the real screen-shot is 320 x 200, which unlike other Speccy games that run at 256 x 192 because the graphics are drawn into the border.  I have a 14 inch 4:3 ratio flatscreen that will be filled edge to edge on this game and pixels will obviously look smaller, with lots of colours.  So it should look extremely smooth, and with 28Mhz should run silky smooth too.   8)
