Think I posted another broken post in the game coding section qube. Wondering if it may be the Snagit file names that it doesn't like. Think I'll hold off on posting attachments for the moment or just link images off my Wordpress site.

Hello, three little suggestions:

1. About Monkey sub-forum. Since the sub-forum is also about Cerberus X and Wonkey, I suggest that the sub-forum name Monkey is changed to "Monkey Series" or "Monkey & its Successors". Moreover, changing the description to  "Monkey 1, Monkey 2, Cerberus X, Wonkey" may be more suitable.

2. About the order of sub-forums. Both SmallBASIC and PureBasic are BASIC languages. I suggest putting these two sub-forums under the current Monkey sub-forum. So all BASIC languages will be grouped together. The new order will become:

BlitzMax / BlitzMax NG
Blitz Code Archives
Monkey
SmallBASIC
PureBasic
Unity
C++ / C#
Others

3. About AGK sub-forum. Many novice programming hobbyists may not realize that AGK means AppGameKit. I suggest that the name AGK is changed to AppGameKit. This change will be more convenient for these people.

Thanks.

cerberusx and wonkey have very little to do with each other and monkey - other than they are the bastard children of monkey and monkey2. wonkey can eat monkey2 code, and I presume that cerberus can eat monkey code. but wonkey and cerberus are completely incompatible.

Small basic and pure basic might have some things in common with each other - but have nothing in common with monkeys = suggest keeping then completely apart

AGK whiy not have the forums 'App Game Kit (AGK)' then there can be no misunderstanding...

Hi....

1. About the current Monkey sub-forum: now I agree that 'Monkey Series' and 'Monkey & its Successors' are not suitable names. If 'Monkey & its Forks' is used as the new sub-forum name, you will not disagree any more.

2. About the order of the sub-forums: but Unity is also nothing in common with Monkey and its forks. In addition, Unity is not a pure programming language.

3. About the AGK sub-forum: Ok! The name 'App Game Kit (AGK)' is a good suggestion but 'App Game Kit' is actually only one word. On the company's webpage(https://www.appgamekit.com/), the company uses 'AppGameKit' and does not use 'App Game Kit'. So the sub-forum name should be changed to 'AppGameKit (AGK)'.

I am experiencing some problems with the site lately.
Domain not reachable.
Can't log in cause the site isn't secure.
The chat is all fucked up and the entries are displayed out of its box and many many than they would fit inside.
Anyone else see this too?

Been fine with me. Only problems I've ever had are when I've jumped in without switching my vpn off and had to hassle uncle Qube to unban me :)

SSL Certificate isn't new and still valid (may to august).
So maybe your browser had made some false decisions - or you use a proxy (maybe without knowing) which f* up something?

Or Qube did something exact at the times you visited the page (can happen too).

Is it randomly or always ("lately")?

I think this issue presented when the URL was something like http(s)://syntaxbomb.com without the www. I've updated the .htaccess file to redirect to https and www if not present.

Let me know if all OK for you now, thanks?

It's definitely random. And the only site I experience this .
Will log out and see if it still does it.

External avatar-urls are simply appended to the forum-suburl - of course breaking these avatar displays.

@Derron Thanks, I know about this but just not had any free time to spend looking into why :( It's on my list to-do and I'll make the effort to get it sorted along with the syntax highlighting of code.

You would have thought that forum software would be bug free but no such luck :))
