Hey there, I've started a mailing list on the BB.com forums but it was pretty short as the plug was pulled too fast...

I've send a mail to all I got to register here. Do you have ideas how to inform the core of the other ones? Maybe even via Brucey?

Hopefully someone here has Bruceys email address.

I'm not at FB anymore but at least Brucey could be reached via his bmax-ng page I guess.

And I know goodlookingguy has downloaded everything so there should be at least some way to reach out.

Maybe someone could drop a post at the BRL Facebook site to point to this forum here? Or is that a bad idea?

Why would that be a bad idea?

Maybe you could post at the Monkey2 site?

I got some word out via Twitter, posted on the Monkey X forum about this place and also add a comment and message to the BRL FB page.

If you promise to not abuse or sell it (email lists = money), I can give you the email addresses. I don't feel like you would, and hell, who's to say I'm trustworthy, but I just want to make sure. Yes would be nice indeed. I would use it for only ONE mail to send out the link to SyntaxBomb. That's it.

Once I get it to you, just ignore ID 1,2,5, and 6, unless Simon Harrison is not related to Blitz. By the way, you wouldn't believe how many UserIDs sent back 404s. There were a number of deleted users. The first 9000 topics were also missing. It's almost like the database migrated from somewhere, they deleted all old posts, but forgot to reset the unique key's current ID.

Edit: Okay, I'll attempt to go to sleep now so that I can quickly work tomorrow to get you those emails while people are still huddling around for hope.

It looks like it shouldn't be too hard for me to strip the users out. It's the forum stuff that will take me time. So I'll focus my efforts on getting the users table completed before I do anything with the topics and posts.

I think I'll have the users table done shortly.

Also, I didn't even really work hard to parse this stuff out. I wasn't even trying. Thank you regex...

I will have to work harder at parsing the forum posts because regex is not a parser and does not know how to pick up more than 30000 something characters, which some posts exceed, I think. The bad part is that the HTML is broken (lots of missing end tags), making this whole thing just that much more difficult to do.
