It's only a couple of simple questions to aid in the reduction of bots signing up to spam the forums with 100's of nude Russian brides.

Sure, we'll get spammers no doubt but I didn't make the questions hard  :'(

What was idiotic about it?
Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

I'm having a hard time understanding what your saying, are you saying the registration process here is complicated?

I don't know if Hardcoal has had experience with bots and so the questions might look idiotic from that perspective. I on the other hand have had to deal with so many bots that I think your Q & A is too simple.

Edit: On one of my current systems (not my main website, as I don't really take care of that), I have javascript decode values and hide a form value with javascript. A number of bots will uncheck the box that can't be seen and that makes it easy to detect them. None of the spam bots I've seen in recent years are terribly smart. I don't think I've had an incident for 2 years. Cloudflare is helping me out though.

Edit again: Speaking of Cloudflare, I think you should use their service. It's really awesome.
