I'm going to watch it sometime, I'm just nervous to :p It'll probably be goodbye from the site sometime for me.
I'm just a mentally ill person stuck in person. I've had quite an online history and of media such as role plays with people that became movies (for real) among other things and content. I wanted to be an online famous person at one time. Unfortunately it's ill and I'm anonymous.

Gawd, Aliens. One of the greatest films ever made. Got to be in my top ten. I remember seeing the special edition way back in the early 90's, before I ever saw the original cinema release. I actually felt cheated when I saw the light version.

The 4K BR release is a digital upscale of the 2k scan the older "non 4k"-Bluray already used (just google "aliens 4k dnr"). So if you had this somewhere in your shelves ... you'd better stay with it and save the bucks for the 4k BR.

I had it on an old DVD version and didn't have a 4K TV or blueray player then so the image quality will be better on this edition. There are 2 versions of the film and extra footage that was cut from the film.

@Xerra
Me too great film, my wife is never on time so I quote from the film when she's being extra slow getting out of the door lol. I'm sure as a fan of the film you can work out the quotes haha.

I picked up blueray Terminator at the same time - another old classic.

Why the theatrical release wasn't the special edition cut is bizarre, especially as the special edition makes it an even better film and not just some random extended scenes which add nothing to the film.

Was it Hicks screaming "come on! come on! we ain't got all day"?
Or you could go for the T2 line "Come on, let's go, come on, let's let's go, come on."
