Hi there
I want to be, be part of or generate a group of programmers, somewhere where you can connect, chat, share.

I don't know what the ideal platform would be, this forum is the only link I have with you since the Blitz3d site died.

And you are the only people in the whole world who do the same as me, something that I have practically no one to share with here.

I don't know what would be the ideal platform to enter into contact, face, a chat, I don't know.

But as the years go by, as the years go by I see that everything is being lost, and I would like to make an effort now to try to preserve this which is something that I am passionate about.

And in what I can help, contribute my grain of sand, count on me. You know that I always made an effort to limit Blitz3d, although in programming I always had a hard time innovating. In what I can help, share, here I will be.

well, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I send my regards.

i have used Blitz3d a lot (maybe too much) during the 11 past years. but now i am more interested in building electronic devices with real world usefulness.

anyway, there are also a few others forums about Blitz3d :
blitzcoder.org/forum/ (english)
blitzforum.de/forum/ (german)
forum.boolean.name/ (russian)

have fun

BlitzX on Blitzcoder looks very interesting :D

Actually RemiD if you are suggesting hobby dev games are of no real world use-think of the positive emotional reward players and developers can get from them.  That is certainly real world practical use.

If there's a problem, there's at least one solution.

BlitzX is by RonTek who also runs Blitzcoder.org. He has demos for HTML5 and Android, but you can't try it yet, I think it will be in C++.

From his worklog "BlitzX is a modern Blitz3D compatible programming language with a Blitz like syntax and command set. Planned features includes cross platform and modern 3d engine features. Blitz 2D features will also be supported."

I'm a bit of a B3D advocate, although my coding has been on the slide of late. Other stuff just seems a bigger priority as I get older. Sure, I'm toying with AGK on occasion, but my B3D exploits have been related to some analysis of exercise data. I do like to get outside, which isn't conducive to coding 😉
