Guys, i help facilitate a number of Game Bundles on itch.io and there are so many great games posted here on SB that i wonder if you would like some help in sharing them with the multiverse via Co-op Games bundles there.

The small group that i'm a part of that organizes/facilitates bundles (Bundle Everywhere) generally runs larger co-op bundles (we have 3 currently running thru July 21st, 2 of which are game bundles with almost 200 titles inside) and as i skim the the SB competition submissions and showcase, i believe many would simply shine in being a part of them. Alternatively, i can absolutely see an exclusive Syntax Bomb bundle being successful, as well.

I've been participating in game bundles on itch for just over a year and, while i've collected a small amount of revenue in that time (under $200), it's always been about sharing my games and having people play them. With hundreds of downloads of my humble games, way more browser plays (itch doesn't run a cummulative total, there), and the interaction from those that've played them, it's been satisfying to see my work enjoyed by more folks than i could have hoped for otherwise. And, this is what i'm offering to help the SB Community enjoy, if interested.

Feel free to ask any questions if you're not familiar with itch.io or the bundle functionality there or whatever else i can help with. I just see so much talent here, so many games that should be played by folks all over the world, and think it all should be shared with more.

I give my games away free anyway, so you're more than welcome to include any of them in your bundles. You're not allowed to make any revenue from them, and they always remain my intellectual property, would be my only conditions.

a little confused where i'm not asking to include anything but offering to help get some exposure for your games if that's something you might want. i dont care about the money but when i facilitate some of the big bundles, i dont mind taking my equal split which basically might cover my subscription @ craftpix or a little art/sound/support my hobby somehow (spending the hours i do on some of the bundles and taking in 10 bucks for my effort doesn't really compute as revenue to me).

meanwhile, the closest itch has for a completely free co-bundle is a "pay what you want" notion which doesn't prevent anyone from donating (i think individuals can bundle their own stuff for $0.00 via a 100% off sale or similar). and, if it was a syntax bomb exlusive, i wouldnt see a dime since i wouldn't have a submission.

anyway, was just a thought.

No problem with covering your costs and buying yourself a beer or two for the work put in. Feel free to grab any of my games I've submitted into the game comps :)

How would you be taking a cut from covering your costs by putting my games out there when i have them listed as free? Are you suggesting that I should put a charge on them and you're going to be putting them out there to get sales as part of a bundle?

i'm not trying to cover costs or make money but was offering my time and energy to help share SB games (which, if they are free should stay such). sorry for any confusion but really that's all i wanted to do. apparently, it wasn't a good idea and so i'll shuffle along.

mainsworthy

I have found the same games on diff sites for diff fees and DRM, but if you get same game twice on itch thats no good.
