I've stopped looking at different programming languages.

Yeah I think that's it for me. The thought of looking at another coding language makes me feel ill
so I'm taking what I have that I can use comfortably and saying no new languages not even to look at. These are my final 2 languages that I intend to use AppGameKit Studio and PureBasic.
The reason is they are both BASIC and I know a fair bit of that and they both have a nice fully integrated 3D graphics framework. I paid for both of them and they are my favorite coding tools
I do feel I could code any app with AGK S so why bother with PureBasic? I don't really Know but it may come in handy at some point. All the stuff I use and program with AGK S I fully understand and this is why I love it. In PureBasic when it comes to setting up the terrain there are things there that I do not understand and this really bugs me. I will try and resolve this today.

Just wondering if I should go to the bookies to see what the odds are on another post on "Looking at [insert] language" or "Going Back to [insert] language".
My money on the odds being extremely low.

Talking of not looking at other languages, I recently had a quick play with PureBASIC and couldn't even get it to move a handful of sprites about in 2D without juddering :o Not sure what I was doing wrong or missing but it was a very simple create window, load sprite, move sprites, flip screen. No idea why it wasn't silky smooth so closed the app down and thought feck it.

Well I think I have done alright and if I hadn't of tried a few out how would I know Which was the best for me. If you do not like what you are using I would suggest you bin it as quickly as possible and move on to find something else more suitable. I ended up looking or trying many languages and the ones I chose were the best for me. It's called checking out the competition. In the end I picked the easiest and most enjoyable and capable both BASIC although one is compiled and one interpreted. I'm talking about PureBasic and AGK Studio.

Did you read what Qube said? Seems purebasic gives really poor results when actually executing programs. As for AGK, hasn't that gone into maintenance mode now?

Suspect you'll be on the hunt again, soon. Can't wait for the next thrilling instalment :)

Pfaber11...I've just downloaded your latest game Package Secured 3. Did you test this before publishing? Was everything okay with it?

edit: I cannot pass the 3rd screen where it describes the controls. Freezes, doesn't respond. Win11

Yeah. I don't think this deserves any kind of "analysis". Wouldn't have any positive effect on you anyway.

Your byte code file is fairly large. How many lines is your source?

Pfaber11

It's a little over 10,000 lines. It sounds insane but it works well.
If this is a scripting language as some say then this is awesome if it does what you want .
