FFor Gaming and dev. My previous one has water damage and stuff. I found a deal on an open box with really good specs kindof. The gpu is comparable except that it's freaking 1024 cores instead of the 2056 that I think the Nvidia had. It was a rtx 3050 mobile or something, I could maybe swap it out. The new one, 16gb ram and faster cpu. I'm going amd so I think im going to get it for ubuntu. I kinda didn't want to tell anyone my investment I'm getting old maybe I won't finish a project. Nvidia/Intel are really nice builds really good I was quite pleased to have that build again since like 2010. No hiccups like I had with radeon. But they say radeon supports Linux better. I want to. Wish these cool ones were made In the u.s. it's worth it to me. As I've said as long as it doesn't get in the way of life/become my life.
