actually I have learnt an awful lot from comps. the limited time frame means your project is finished and you have to move onto something else and when you move on you do everything slightly differently because of all the mistakes from the last time.
Ive been in maybe 6 different comps now and the stuff I have learnt has been invaluable

The world (or forum) is what you make of it.

Like Qube said, you should bring in the type of content that you'd like to see, instead of going after the people that are already doing what they like. And as long as it's lawful and follows Qube's rules.

Otherwise you're gonna come off as entitled: "do what I want because what you're doing right now displeases me".

lean something...?   Maybe you meant learn something?

Just in case you did mean 'lean something' - search for the JV-ODE physics library associated with Blitz 3D, you might really learn like **** then, although I prefer other methods of learning.
