I love the fact it's not changed much. But better Like. Looks like were shooting rather than throwing grenades. 8)

I noticed the Ants were running through the walls. So they've still got away'z to go?

I would love to see a 3D version of Ranarama re-made.

The legends: John Cain and Andy White.
Somewhere on the net is a site that has an article that deconstructed just how Andy White pulled off Ant Attack.

I think that being born in the early 70's was a bit of luck that I got to witness the home computers of the late 70s to early 90s. PC's are just dull and really have no character. And the games of today may be in many cases stunning to those of the early PC era, but they always feel that they are lacking something.

But then I could be looking back on those days with rose tinted glasses.

I had Ant Attack on the spectrum 48k and it was excellent back in 1983. Cookie was another cool game. Ultimate Play The Game.

'Ultimate Play the Game' in the 80's (which are known as 'Rare' now) had some great hits, from Jetpack in only 16K and on...

A Jetpac remake cross with Jetman would be cool!

Yes. A Jetpac remake was made for the Spectrum Next (Baggers in Space). Here you can go underground too.

It isn't my favourite game, Head Over Heels is much better for a start - and there are some games that keep getting better and better. The Next Annual really shows some of the best current modern Spectrum Next games that are out or in development: https://fusionretrobooks.com/products/spectrum-next-a4-annual-2024

Captain Squarejaw and that Gauntlet-style game that's in development look good too.
