Coming from somebody that knows a thing or two about good palettes and pixel art, that's a good compliment, cheers Adam.   :)

I've been working on graphics and animation, it's beginning to come together:
Oo, now that is really nice looking 8) Reminds me of the lovely colourful graphics of the Amstrad CPC which C64 owners were jealous of ;D

I can happily echo iWasAdam comment that the pallet is really top notch and works really well. Look forward to seeing how this progresses.

Looks like a few are really cooking on gas already.  :o I think the one button restriction  really makes you think outside the box so should be a fun one.

I'm still working on updates to my last 2 x comp entries but should ready to start this next week. I'm thinking vectors, physics and maybe a bit of jumping and or kicking.  ;D   Lots to think about.

Cheers Qube.  I've come up with a name now, 'Relentless Dave in the Caves of Caerphilly'  :D

Back from holiday this afternoon and I see we're up and running.

Steve, that looks fucking great. Please get yourself on your A-Game and get a game done this time. We've seen lots of stuff from you which looks good but we need to play one this time. Good luck.

Mrmediaman's game looks interesting. If I'm looking at it right then it looks like some kind of gravity vacuuming colours in but can't tell a lot from a screenshot.

I too have an idea. And maybe a name. I've got some prototyping to do but maybe I'll just leave this here as a spark.....

Cheers Xerra, I get close but I always start late and run out of time; this time I started from day 1.

Something similar to Tapper, cool.  The game can get frenetic later on.

I'm testing out the basic mechanisms with block graphics and trying to get a control system working before I commit on this. If it works then "One Button Barman" it will become. I think the basics of Tapper is how it will play but I want to fiddle around with some elements, like replacing the useless can guessing intermission game and also catering for male and female customers for starters. Pretty sure I can do it in one button but I've not got the control even working half well yet and only a rough design for the game.

Looking solid so far.
I've decided to change my game to Extreme Pro tray surfing, it's kind of dumb and kind of fun.
It's a thing that doe's when it don't..

Fuck! That looks cool already. Has the PS2 style of pixels that Tony Hawkes had. That was a great little game. Be interesting to see how you hang it all on one button.

Good stuff.

Wow, some awesome entries so far  :o! I have been working on an one button rhythm game, where you have to hit the mouse or spacebar to the beat to charge up your attacks. Defeat enemies to collect gems to power up your wizard and 100% the song/level. It's called RhythZard  :))

It uses an asset pack, GFX are not my strong point, but I am pleased so far.
