Looks like Daz (Studio) ... especially as Qube did use Poser/Daz for his Exbien-Game Portraits.

Yeah that was my guess too...And that's cheating lol.   :))

That would explain the delay in posting, lol.  No loincloth's in his local supermarket.   :))

Cheating? :o you know how much work it took to get this right? :'( :)) - no more cheating than those who download sound effects and free music which takes no effort at all *slap*  ;D

Some of the animations ( not all shown ) were done by exporting a base model from Daz3D, importing into Mixamo, choosing and animation, saving to FBX, importing into Daz3D, baking the animation keys, exporting the animation and then applying it to your clothed character  8)

Damn! You guessed what I'm doing  :))

When I post the next video then it should be obvious what arcade game it'll be inspired by. Might end up being a mix of that and a classic 8-bit platformer but I'm not sure if that'll work nicely together.

They do look very neat. That mixamo is awesome.
I think i would get rid of the draping part of the outfit. It looks a bi stiff and unnatural

That character is not in the game, it was just one I had from ages ago that I was using for testing animations as it had clothing on all parts of the body ( hold the rude jokes you dirty lot :P ).

lol yes original sound/music is not something I've really tackled.  Maybe on the Spectrum Next and NextDAW will get me more interested to add some sound/music to coding and art...But Ofcourse you personally made all those Alien sound effects for your Alien game?  Right? ;)  And a bit of a Larusso slap there.

I did, I did. I went to Hollywood, hired a studio, cast, crew, everything. Although there was a bit of an incident when a Xenomorph sneezed on the sound engineer, especially as the recording didn't turn out useable ;D

Oh, a new competition! And a perfect theme.  ;) I'm joining! Always fun to make and try new games. :D

Finally getting somewhere with the animations. It's been a big slog getting them to blend with each other, like running to running jump, high kick to low kick. Definitely a lot more work than I thought it would be but good to see it taking shape.
