'src' typed in bottom text box and after add clicked

**MODIFIED POST**  The 'src' needs to be typed in the bottom text window in the "Resource Directories" tab to work.

So we try and compile and run project.

I have no idea what im doing    But i have an error at line 450 as you've described! This is good i think.

Now to change lines of code.

ISO C++ warnings come next about strings.

Lines need to be changed again.

Line 166 needs tobe altered first or you get an error on line 203. Before i compiled and ran again.

So, Ive followed all instructions but have a new error on line 47 

My gut feeling is this file shouldn't be there?

Hehe, yeah I can be harsh out of frustration with some languages (especially if they are overly verbose in their syntax or have become overly complex and get ever larger).  And many are just general purpose languages, so to produce something with graphics or sound you have to bolt-on something else (which might not gel nicely with the language and add massively to the exe size).

You've added the the path to search for resources in the wrong place.
Project Options
Directories.

Three sub tabs
Library Directories
Include Directories
Resource Directories

Remove it from Library Directories and add it to the Resource Directories.

At the bottom in the Compile log. It will tell you that it cannot find the icon mentioned in the resource.rc file.

When using a resource file. You don't have to add the icon in the Option General tab.

I did 'C' on a course Nearly 20 odd Years ago! And remember little about it. I think we used "C Borland 1.02" on windows 95    And have never used it since 

The 8080 is like a 1/4 of the Functions of the Z80 CPU but the ones that do work are the same!

SFML Work very well With Visual Studio 2022.

All you need is SFML Template to installed Visual Studio 2022 and that it then run the program.

In good old days when you had mess with bloody Complier to get SDL or SFML or Allergo working and now 2022, you dont have mess with Compliers anymore lol
