..me thinks, this will not happen..i do not know why, but i came to conclusion that its not going anywhere as such thread existed at old BB site, before everything collapsed and moved here..no blame on author or anything as its his fine work, so its perfectly fine if decision has been made to let it all die...it will be just nice to say so, thats all..

Nope, still working in it.

I now got it to support the Pyro Tiled Converter (I really wanted this) so you can load orthogonal Tiled maps instead of using my crapy editor that I made at the time.

Still got some cleaning up to do but I will try to release it next week in some shape or form!

You have to understand that it didn't get that much maintanance after I made the jump to monkey so I feel I need to make up for it and Pyro 2 is consuming all of my time!

For people here who don't know what IgnitionMax is:

IgnitionMax is a 2d game framework for BlitzMax and is the predecessor to Ignition-x, Pyro and Pyro2 ( https://playniax.itch.io/pyro-2 )
IgnitionMax was specifically developed for our first PC game called Defenstar ( https://playniax.itch.io/defenstar )
Note that we don't officially develop and support IgnitionMax anymore but I promissed to 're-release' it.
Before the re-release I wanted to clean some stuff up and make some changes.
There is still some work to be done on the tile engine and some other minor stuff but I will release a version tommorow and will add / finish stuff in the coming weeks!
I have not tested it on NG and I am not sure I will but if people really want to use it I might release an update once and a while.
Pyro2 is consuming all of my time right now so I have to make choices...

Okay,

I want to apologize for the delay but here is the 're-release' of IgnitionMax, as promised. I was short on time and motivation.
It’s actually a pre-re-release :P because I didn’t get to finish all changes that I wanted yet but I will work on this a bit more in the next couple of weeks. I also left out the screen mode selector and ‘general purpose interface’ because the code got broken but will add them later again. There is still some work to be done on the NEW tile engine and some other minor stuff but this should be enough to play around with it for now. The old tile engine was using my old crappy editor but the new one can load Pyro2 maps. There is a Tiled converter included but you will need to compile it with Pyro2. I will upload a pre-compiled version later this week when I have time.

IgnitionMax may also disappoint because it doesn’t have as many features of let’s say Pyro2 but you have to understand that I basically ‘abandoned’ it when Monkey came out.
