I am curious. Can anyone answer? Thanks a lot.
I ran a game compiled in Blitzplus about 20 years ago yesterday. Windows reported it needed to install a directplay library and it ran ok after that.
Blitzmax, blitz3d and blitzplus are kept in working order on the itch.io pages afaik.
yes, blitz3d games run on Windows 11, but there is a warning message because the executable is not known by 'Windows 11 Defender'. but you only have to accept and then it works well.
see my post about this :
Quotewhen i run a blitz3d executable or a unity executable (entries from the game competitions), i get this error message :

i will investigate further...
edit : you just have to click on the 'informations complementaires' (='additional informations') to be able to run the executable.
Pakz, RemiD,
Thanks for answering my question!!
happy to read positive answers! :)
i will keep programing on Blitz3D!
btw, games (executables) made with others engines / compilers will have the same warning message on Windows 11. this is not specific to blitz3d executables.
