Yeah true I know the community has pushed to keep Studio going but to be honest even I have been looking at Unity as a replacement

I've looked at everything and I keep coming back to AGK Classic. It still does everything I need it to.

If you ask me, Classic was always the better product out of it and Studio.

I have had confirmation from TGC that we will lose access to the forum attachments so if you need to download anything you are probably better doing it sooner rather than later.

That's not a good sign.

I do like AGK Classic over studio my only issue is that I also use it to produce Android builds and releasing those are getting more and more sketchy with AGK Classic and in some cases studio.

These are the changed I have made to Classic since the last official release:

1.Cleaned all projects
2.Updated the AGK_Build solution to use ENV variables
3.Updated all of the VS solutions to VS2022 and Windows SDK 10
4.Removed FREE and FREE WEEKEND Windows builds
5.Created a new Windows AGK_Build solution to improve build time
6.Added support for Google API 34
7.Added support for Google Billing 6.0.1
8.Upgraded to Android Gradle Plugin 8.1.1
9.Updated Android Export minimum API list to support upto API 34
10.Removed any references to iOS on Windows IDE as iOS exports not supported
11.Changed default UI theme to a grey theme (this is my personal choice but can be changed back to default if required by deleting geany.gtkrc)
12.Updated Tier 2 templates to VS2022 and Windows SDK 10
13.Set default editor theme to Dark Tango (old default is now called Geany Light)
14.Updated AGKPlayer.js to support HTML5 saves

Classic targets the same Google API as Studio and may even target API 35 before Studio does.
