AGK Studio on virtual machine?

Anyone tried running AGK S succesfully in a virtual machine (Windows 11 ARM)? with my setup, AGK won't start - displaying no errors...

I've Windows 11 ARM running in Parallels on MacOS and AGK Studio runs no problems.
Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD.
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 64GB DDR5 RAM, 2T PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Microsoft Surface Pro 11 ( Snapdragon® X Elite ), 16GB RAM, 512GB SDD.
ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM OLED 240Hz.

I use UTM, but i have to give parallels a try. Thanks!

So, after trying with parallels, i still have no luck. what are your settings? i get the same error as with UTM. i just start the steamversion of AGK, no window appears, no errormessage, then it ends - i just can try starting again.  :(

I would drag the whole AGK Studio folder onto the desktop and launch from there bypassing steam altogether. steam / steam apps / common files / appgamekit studio . 
Windows 11 home edition
PureBasic 6.20 and AppGameKit studio
ASUS Vivo book i5 15 16gb ram 512gb ssd
ASUS Vivo book i3 15 16gb ram 256gb ssd
HP Desktop; AMD 6700 A10 16GB ram 2 GB graphics card windows 10

Thank you Pfaber11, this helped a lot. At least i got an error message now ("XINPUT1_3.dll is missing") - so i just installed DirectX and - voila - it works!  ;D
