You Know I don't think there's much I couldn't write with AGK S and yes it is very good for making games but I don't see why you can't 
develop any app you want . GUI is easily doable . Beginners all purpose symbolic instruction code . All purpose . Just because it's aimed at games does not mean it's all it can do . With a bit of imagination anything (almost) is possible. Any app or game is doable according to TGC and I would say that is the case. Have a nice day
