Yeah there's some real good use to be had out of the particle generator. I need it gonna be great for what I have in mind.
If you have had AGK Classic you can download it + the DLC that you own.
Lua for me with Lóvr that uses LuaJIT and is compatible with Lua 5.1  I believe this is correct.
I think it will be a few times faster than Lua 5.4 which is twice as fast as Lua 5.1   ...
Anyway this is the best for me if I knew Lua. This is frustrating as I don't but if you do I think this will be an option for you and possibly a very good one. The language is only as good as it's documentation and AGK C/S really excel in this department. I have not found it yet in Lua.  The search continues.

I just watched that demo of the particle editor and it showed some nice explosions and I think smoke would be doable from what I have seen quite easily. When I see it under a tenner I'm gonna get it although I would like to of programed this stuff myself (lol)but  as this is available then I may as well take advantage of it. For me I think my main purpose for it would be the explosions.

Hello. I now have the particle editor and it is a nice piece of kit.  Does it do smoke? Yes it does. I've only had a brief look at it and so far I like. I got it in the Black Friday sale for £2.88 from steam. I had to buy it there and then at that price, I intended getting it anyway so worked out nice. I have classic also but I don't think I can get the VR addon for it which is a shame.

Quotehow to make smoke in ag
Creating smoke effects in AppGameKit Studio can be a fun and rewarding process. Here's a basic outline to get you started:

1. **Create a Particle Emitter**: This will be the source of your smoke. You can customize the emitter's properties to control the appearance and behavior of the smoke particles.
2. **Set Particle Properties**: Adjust properties like size, color, and lifespan to achieve the desired smoke effect. You can also add randomness to these properties to make the smoke look more natural.
3. **Update Particle Positions**: In your game loop, update the positions of the particles based on their velocities. This will create the illusion of movement.
4. **Render Particles**: Draw the particles on the screen. You can use blending modes to make the smoke look more realistic.

For detailed instructions and examples, you can refer to the [AppGameKit Studio documentation](https://www.appgamekit.com/documentation-studio/home.html).
