Pfff...Faber please! I want to see you learn FreeBASIC. Please do...hahaha...

Yeah me too. I did take nearly a year to learn PureBasic and I suppose it is good for 2D. The 3D stuff is ok but it depends what you want to do. If Fred took the old Ogre out and replaced it with a more upto date version I would look at it again. I paid for it too and really wanted it to work out having cost me £69.00p  . Anyway each to their own. The openGL works but does not render the terrain when it does I will look again. I think Fred implied there would be a new graphics renderer when he was doing the backend C thing. Maybe it is too bigger Job and would be a royal pain in the arse to do but at some point it is a must either that or just limp along for as long as possible. He may be working on this right now but I highly doubt it. Anyway the openGL terrain bug (no floor) may be fixed and I'm gonna check that out very shortly. There was also some thing about outputting text to the screen in 3D mode . I had to put a giant sprite ( transparent ) the size of the screen and render the text onto this. And I think this was in DirectX 9 . Bear in mind DirectX 9 is not supported directly in windows anymore hence why I don't use it. The shadows also look like swimming jellyfish and are not rendered in the right place either. It could be just my feeble brain and I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about . YOU DECIDE.

Anyway I have completed plenty over the last 6 years and the only person who decides when one of my games is finished is me.

Hey look I did not say that with the intension of annoying anyone. I really put about a year into PureBASIC and Phaser a game on my Itch.io page was written in it so I did complete something with it. I came across a couple of things that I did not know how to solve and a couple of things I did not like. The PureBASIC Ogre custom skybox I did like. I really think that with  AGK Studio I can make pretty much anything I want now within reason. I have not tried Bmax no Baggey I have used Blitz3D though and although good I prefer the AGK as it is easier I think and more upto date supporting openGL and Vulkan.
