@Pfaber11: thats the AGK News thread...not the Pfaber11 thread ;)
As a little tip, nobody cares about every little step you take every day.
There are soap operas for that.  :'(

I apologize coder9 I will wind my neck in .

Nevertheless, glad you got the full product, it's a great language for some indie coding  :D

Yeah, I was never a big TGC fan back in the day... Not so much the syntax of the language, but the naming of commands just seemed massive, felt like Jessica Fletcher on her typewriter! :D

I think they have toned that down, or seemed to have anyway as, with AGK, when playing, I do seem to do more doings then doing the doings!

This!!   :D Mate this is *exactly* how I feel about wordy languages with massive command names, you feel as if you're writing a damn novel!!  Rather than coding, the name is in the title lol.

AGK is still like that, but no language is perfect...Apparently they did think to rename commands at one point but didn't.  I guess it was too much work to convert all those commands, much easier if you're starting from scratch.

Quote.   wordy languages with massive command names,.....

Beauty of it is though, when you don't have the time to really dig into a language, the auto population of command names in the IDE helps you realise all the associated cmds without having to dig into the help. And these days, chances of me really getting my head around another language is very slim. So, AGK may just be my last coding tool - certainly for the foreseeable future.  :o

Of course, I may dip into Cerberus on occasion to, with the occasional slice of B3D.....

Yes AGK Studio for £31.59 a real good buy.  Should make someone very happy.

I am often tempted to buy AGK when it's discounted during a Steam Sale but get put off by the bewildering number of options/versions and their wildly differing prices - so always end up walking away empty handed...

Pfaber11

@Chalky I bought AGK studio in their last sale for the same price of 31.59 and found it really good . What are you using now? At this price I think it's a good buy but not at 78.99 or whatever they usually charge on steam. Have a nice day.

Got to say that it's a very poor update considering it's been four months since the last update. No new features, a couple of bug fixes and just updated libraries. Seems to me that it's just a maintenance release which they'd have to do anyway for their driving apps in the App Store / Google Play Store.

Would've love to know what's really happening with AGK as personally I feel development has slowed right down since all the fanfare of having Vulkan.
