Enterprise 64K

Been sorting thorough my stuff, and had my Enterprise 64 out.

So i thought id share a picy of her.

In the meantime im working on a NES emulator in BlitzMaxNG.

I wouldn't power it up until it has been recapped. Philips capacitors from that era are know it fail.
Did mine the other year.

Fun fact.
The issue 4 pcb versions are rare. They also have a design flaw in the NICK chip that cause display issues after the chip warns up.
It's also a good idea to replace the power supply. If I remember they are epoxy filled like the C64 power supplies.

Im surprised that no one is making a power supply for retro computers yet. I think theres -5Vdc +5Vdc, -12Vdc +12Vdc and -9Vdc +9Vdc. I think then you've covered everything.

All you need to do then is by an adapter lead to go between the PSU and your Retro computer of choice then.

They already do make them. You have to go looking for them. The first place to check are the retro forums for a particular retro computer.

Yeah, But im thinking of a All in one Power supply. One for all so to speak.

Modern keyboards have 12 function keys (F1 - F12) so the keyboard would be huge if it had FUNCTION 1 - 12 written on each over-sized key, like a child's toy computer. Abbreviation for the win.

But yeah I love old computer stuff too.

The Enterprise had the Dave and the Nick chip.

I cant help but wonder, did Commodore steal there idea for the Amiga 500 from the Enterprise

It's nothing new. Every company has an internal code name for an their chips. Just look at Intel and AMD.
