From the guys that brought you the C64 Mini and the C64 Maxi, comes the Amiga Mini.  It comes with an Amiga Mouse, Gamepad and 25 games, although you have to supply your own keyboard.

If this sells well enough I bet they'll produce a full-sized working keyboard version as they did with the C64:

Oo, very sweet. I think I'll wait for the full sized one though. Hopefully they'll go for the A600 full sized as I think the A500 / A1200 could be too big these days for many. It would be a bit of a space sucker whereas the A600 wasn't huge. Mind you if they ever did a "The BBC Model B", eeeekkkk :o

Well if everybody waits for the full sized version so nobody buys the mini version, there won't be a full sized version.

Yeah the A600 is a more practical full sized model, but if they went with the A500 Mini I guess they can't change models now.  Also, flight sim nuts would go nuts because the numeric keypad was apparently used extensively there on the A500/1200.  Personally I don't use keyboards with numeric keypads on any of my computers because they do take up so much space.

lol yes the Beeb is massive but they're Commodore guys.  Maybe when sales dip they could produce other retro computers.

I was very excited when I saw this the other day!!  I'm up for both the mini and maxi versions (if they produce one).  Since my backlog of debt will be paid off within three months, I'll be able to afford to buy both the C-64 mini, the maxi this year, and the Amiga's next year.

Even though Steve Elliott said these guys were Commodore people, I hope they see money into dipping their resources into Atari and Tandy/Radio Shack waters and rebuild the Atari 800XL and Atari ST.  As for Tandy/Radio Shack, it would be the Model I/II/III and Color Computer.  I'm not too keen on Apple products, but if the big guys over at Apple don't bury these guys in lawsuits, then I  would want the IIc and IIGS models reproduced.

BTW, I consider myself  a Sinclair/Commodore  programmer myself.
Prepare to be assimilated !  Resistance is futile!

This is true but I wouldn't buy something I don't want based on that they may do a full sized working keyboard version. It looks cute but without a working keyboard you may as well use a Raspberry Pi. Full sized one, like the Vic-20 and I'm in.

Controller is a bit odd. Looks cool but didn't the Amiga joysticks just have the usual up / down / left / right and a single fire button ( even though joysticks had one each side )? I don't recall having multiple fire buttons that did different things.

Well if we're taking dreams and wants then a full sized Atari 800XL and a TI-99/4A would be pre-ordered the minute the website went live  :))

Yeah it loses a bit of authenticity for me there, but they're basing it on the Amiga CD32 Games Console Controller rather than the usual computer joysticks.

I'm like Steve, as in I'll buy the mini because, if enough people think like me, then it'll make them enough money for them to consider a full size option later on. Worked for the C64, and I bought both options for that.

I'm just a retro-hound. I'll buy anything if it's seriously cool and retro - even if it ends up not getting a huge amount of use. One day I'll buy a house big enough to actually display them all easily.

Oh OK then I'll grab one just so I don't feel guilty if they don't produce a full sized version :))
