Oo, very nice :D - Was the scene exported as a whole or model by model?

What's 3DS Max like? - I've never tried it as the price they are asking these days is just silly.
Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

..scene is exported as a whole, just like previous success..issue was with indexing UV's during unwrapping process...3dsmax is worth every penny...powerful, it can manage very heavy scenes without glitch, you can do lighting, animation..all in one system..highly recommended..

God damn you! my debit card is vibrating in my wallet now. Oh dear, no Mac version :D. I like the look of this light map stuff so I'll do a few tests with my beloved Cheetah3D and go from their :P

I could Google, but does 3DS Max do volumetric lighting?. For some strange reason Cheetah3D does not but my 2nd favourite modeller, TrueSpace from years ago does.

..well..hollywood vfx are done by 3dsmax/maya :) , so volumetric lighting is no issue..however, for lightmap you have very powerful mental ray renderer as a part of 3dsmax, and if you want to be at LucasArts level, buy VRay plug in and you will be doing some serious photorealisic lighting (even Mental Ray can do it)..then you have tons of tutorials of just about everything under the sun, you can export your models in to any existing 3D model of your choice, you can do any kind of animation (skeletal, morphing targets, vertex, etc), rigging and so on..i mean..and finally, your own cut scenes/movies..full system..and then, you can use maxscript (its like a c-script) in which you can write your own importer/exporter/material plugin or anytging you want to support your engine...i believe, if you buy individually, tools which does what 3dsmax does by default, it till end up much more pricey and far less comfortable as a art pipeline.. :) .. its worth every penny.. i havent regret one single minute paying for it..actually i have 20 licensees..LOL..
